| Bio: |  Welcome the chronicles of your everyday urban planner know as ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) terraplanner . Within the confines of this journal, you’ll find the [mis]adventures of what he sometimes aptly titles "A Life Less Ordinary". That being said, one might be slightly entertained by stories of travel, tales of an eccentric planning department, random geeky points of interests, as well as the scattered vignettes that paints the picture of this said life.
James’ interests tend to be quite board. A self-proclaimed road historian, you’ll come to find random road facts regarding their history, planning, and the overall embracing of the open road. Equally, the interest in aviation is just as strong (as if the collection of commercial jetliners models on his desk wasn’t enough). He likes airplanes enough to engage in travel whenever possible, but not quite enough to fly them (although he does have 1.6 hrs of logable flight time). Other interests include taking in the outdoors, exploring the urban environment, photography, just to name a few.
A graduate of New Mexico State University with his Bachelors in City and Regional Planning, James is a practicing planner for three years now. He is a active member of the America Planning Association, participating in the Latinos and Planning Division, and Gays and Lesbians in Planning (GALIP) Division.
